Mubasher: Ekttitab Holding achieved a decline of 16.8% in losses during the second quarter of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.
Losses shrank to about KWD 439,200 ($1.4 million) in Q2-17 from nearly KWD 527,600 ($1.7 million) in Q2-16, according to a recent bourse statement.
Ekttitab, which is listed on both Boursa Kuwait and Dubai Financial Market (DFM), decreased by 26.5% in losses to about KWD 201,700 during the first half of 2017 compared to around KWD 274,400 in H1-16.
It is worth noting that Ekttitab achieved a profit of nearly KWD 237,500 in Q1-17 against losses worth approximately KWD 253,200 in Q1-16.
At the stock level, Ekttitab closed Thursday’s session at Boursa Kuwait 3.85% lower at 37.5 fils, while it fell by 1.08% to AED 0.460 at DFM.
